Gypsy communities
Nomadic families can face housing insecurity, social exclusion and limited access to education and services. Children may be especially vulnerable when caregivers must travel or work for daily wages.
We work alongside underserved communities to expand access to education, care, health, and livelihood opportunities—building a future rooted in equity and shared progress.
Arise India Foundation was established and registered in 2015 with a vision to serve neglected and underserved communities. Field visits and direct engagement with Gypsy and Irular communities revealed barriers to education, healthcare, safe housing and social inclusion.
That experience shaped our commitment to inclusive development—supporting children, strengthening women's livelihoods and partnering with families to build greater opportunity and dignity.
Our work responds to barriers experienced by historically underserved communities, with a focus on practical support and equal opportunity.
